We’re excited to introduce Prarthana Thathpurusha, who joins the Interplanetary Initiative this month as a program aide student worker. Prarthana is pursuing her Master of Science in information technology and project management, bringing a strong foundation in tech and coordination to our team.
In her role, Prarthana will play a key part in organizing research project logistics, including schedule coordination and document management. She’ll also contribute to streamlining internal workflows, boosting team efficiency, and supporting strategic planning by identifying new resources to support our programs.
Prarthana is passionate about using technology to make a positive impact. She’s actively involved with Women in Computer Science at ASU and volunteers as a math and science educator for underprivileged students. Her background includes organizing large campus events and mentoring peers — a testament to her strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
With a vision to lead transformative tech initiatives in education, community engagement, or operations, Prarthana is especially drawn to the human side of technology — from team coordination to mentoring. Her thoughtful approach and drive for inclusive systems make her a valuable addition to our mission-driven work.
Outside the classroom, Prarthana brings a dynamic range of interests: she’s a fan of strategy games, anime, dance, and sports, and thrives on spontaneous adventures. Her prior experience as a student office assistant and customer engagement team lead has honed her organizational savvy and commitment to effective team support.
We’re thrilled to welcome Prarthana and look forward to the many ways she’ll contribute her technical expertise and collaborative spirit to the Interplanetary Initiative.
Welcome aboard, Prarthana!
